My mom always tells me to thank people even for the smallest things. It shows them that you appreciate them and it gives them an incentive to be/do good... not just to you, but to everyone else. I love this, and I really take it to heart - you can see how this reflects on my work.

ReplyDeletei'll just try to tell you 3 in each place: i'm thankful for having such a wonderful Mamu, who told me always, no matter our circumstances, that i could do and be anything in the world i wanted to and she'd always stand behind me. and she always has.
I'm thankful every day that i wake up to see the again. to be able to give thanks for every thing that blesses my life, big and small. i was run over by a speeding suv as i was crossing the street and it would be so easy for me to be dead right now. but i'm not. and i don't take that for granted.
i'm grateful for Dr. Mason Turner, for sticking by me thru thick and thin, for always finding some way to get me thru the hard places and for never saying "there's nothing else i can do for you" the way so many others have. I'm grateful for his tenacity.
I am thankful that I am in a position to help others. Right now I am fostering a dog, and it is very fulfilling; I am grateful that my life allows it.
